Should I go to the university ?

Some people believe that studying at University or College is the best route to a successful career, while others believe that it is better to get a job straight after school. Discuss both views and give your opinions.

I have been studying about education for four years, and I think there is no such things like best route or not. Sometimes people get to college because they want to get better job in future and in the same time have the money to afford it, but not every graduated high school student just as lucky as that. So this is so optional, even if we can't studying in college straight after finish studying at high school because of money problem, we can find a job first and saving to have study when we are ready. I will give my view of both options.

 

Entering a college means a lot for me or maybe for some other student, it is not just about studying and getting ready with the future, it's a lot more about that, being in a class mean you meet a lot of people who someone of them might be a person who lead you to the next stage after learning, I am talking about the network, College is the best place to gain a lot relation, not only in class but also the organization or community outside the class will give you a lot of advantages. Beside that the main point of being in college is an opportunity to gain a knowledge in a field you are interested in,  but we must admit that in the other side college mean a lot of money to spend and we also need to prepare if the major we were taking in college maybe will be different with the field you are going to take after college to get a good job with big salary. We will easily meet a bachelor of education in front of the bank desk as a front liner, or a bachelor in law who suddenly became a teacher in high school, because four years in college will give you a very different understanding about life.

 

The second option is having a job after high school, I have no problem with this choice, well I might be said this was a choice but some teenagers maybe just have no money for the college fees, so they just find a job. I have some friends who just working after graduated, both man and women, at least everything is get better after they work, they have a monthly income to live a life and of course for saving. Some of my friends also continue their study after they are ready with the college fees, they took part time class which means they still can working and studying and the advantages of this choice is most of them took a major that related to their work today and this help  to earn promotion in their career path.

 

This view is not basic on a literature or study, I just find it my self based on my experience, to sum up I would like to say that both of studying in a University or having a job after graduate have its different advantages ad disadvantages, and I just want to make sure that education are one of the way to raise a success, so even if you choose to have work, you should also considering the possibility of continuing your study.
